COWEA Updates

May 2022
COWEA launches our new Palm Oil Plantation project with the purchase of seeds and supplies to grow 200 palm tree seedlings.  We have selected the Massamai farm community to establish the palm oil plantation.

February 2022
Concerned about the need for extra funding to provide for administrative, educational, and surprise costs (such as mill engine breakdown, etc.), Romeo identified a possible solution: palm oil sales. In the past few years palm oil production has become an economic opportunity in Africa.  Romeo began to research the viability of establishing a palm oil planation for COWEA that would provide for growth and maintenance needs.  Romeo developed a simple plan to grow palm tree seedlings, purchase land, plant the tree, and nurture them for 3 years until palm trees fruit can be harvested for the oil.  We believe a plantation producing palm oil for sale will provide long term revenue to support COWEA growth into the future.
